I am simultaneously in awe of and haunted by the world around me. I use my body, pedestrian objects, color and sound to navigate the ecstasy and horror of everyday existence. I use my experience in womanhood to explore those themes that are relevant to me and my kind- body image, sexual constructs, femininity, spirituality and the mundane. I often create experiences of witness, ritual and subtle surrealism where audiences are confronted. My obsession with books and music allow me a constant stream of elements of which I create new realities or manipulate previous/current ones. I believe all who are artists are in a constant state of creating. I process my own reality through performance, words and incessant conversation with those who I find intriguing.
